Baby Cot Mattress Buying Guide

Should be firm- in fact, choose the firmest possible, 3-4 inches at least

Should be breathable, anti-dust mite, ideally not foam

Should fit snugly with the crib so baby does not fall between mattress and crib side

Ideally, push in the centre and sides to check if it springs back or not

Ideally cover should be removable and washable, else you may need to buy a mattress protector for the leaks that are bound to happen
