Passing down the love for reading
I've been an avid reader my whole life for as far as I can remember. My mother used to bring all sorts of books for us, my father would bring comics like Tinkle or Children's Digest. We spent our train or flight times reading books or just solving puzzle books. The wonderful thing about all this was that it didn't feel like an obligation. Books were not just a school thing to pass exams, we played with books. Books were fun! As I grew up my reading grew with me. I love reading novels, articles, blogs and whatever grabs my interest.
I wish the same for my daughter. Like passing down a legacy. I can't give her everything in the world, it's impossible, but the books will give her a new world. A new character, a new life, a new scenario with every book. I wish I become at least half my mother is and give her this priceless love for reading.
